You have made me GLAD!
"The antidote for exhaustion is not necessarily rest, its whole heartedness." - David Whyte
There is not one season I have been in that I haven’t been able to find myself grateful for something God is up to. Gratitude has always lead my heart to a place of wholeness and true joy. To be wholehearted that’s been on my mind lately, considering what that means and what that would look like and feel like.
I’m definitely in the process of learning my human capacity and that I have has limitations. As someone who loves to serve people I know in order to say my best Yes to something I have to say No to other things.
“To say yes to Jesus's invitation is to say no to a thousand other things.” John Mark Comer
Saying Yes to Jesus has been the joy of my life! But when it comes to deciphering the ministry volume I can handle and the specific things that make me thrive that takes a lot more discernment.
Truth is I often pray for balance of things in my life…but recently I’ve been praying the Holy Spirit would direct me to the right things and sustain me daily in all the things. Recently realizing I am very much not in control of the majority of happenings in life, but I know the one who is. God truly cares more about me than I’ll ever fully know.
